We do not want it to happen first at the BOC regional office,” said Alvin Enciso, BOC chief intelligence officer.
BOC collector Marvin Mison said the consignees and their brokers are being investigated.
He said a certain Rodolf Golez is being investigated for the van containing two Mercedes Benz 280 SL sedans and the Porsche 911 car, all three with a total declared value of P4 million.
Mison identified the owner of the container vans full of blankets, pillow cases, curtains, bed sheets and used clothing from Korea as Gamma Gray Marketing from Manila.
For the vans containing frozen meat from France, Mison said UML Farm and Trading Corporation from Manila is being investigated.
“We will dispose the frozen meat as soon as possible because it is showing signs of spoilage already,” Mison said.
