DAVAO CITY (MindaNews / 23 June) — A suspect in the rape-slay of a 16-year old junior high school student in Talomo on Friday evening was arrested by the police past midnight.
In a report released by Talomo Police Station on Saturday, the suspect identified as 35-year old James B. Narte, a laborer who lives in the same community, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday after authorities learned the towel recovered at the crime scene was his.
