GUINDULUNGAN, Maguindanao (MindaNews /12 February) —  Nine persons were killed as convoy of maroon and black pick-up trucks was ambushed in Sitio Dam, Barangay Kalumamis, Guindulungan, Maguindanao a little past 7 a.m. on Saturday. 

Mayor Midpantao Midtimbang Jr. confirmed the ambush but said they were still  getting more details. 

Lt. Fayeed Cana, spokerson of the Philippine National Police in Maguindanao, said the group of Kumnander Pags Mamasainged alias “Black Magic” was on board three sport utility vehicles en route to Barangay Kitapok in Datu, Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao when ambushed by a still unidentified group along Barangay Kalumamis in Guindulungan town.
