3 earthquake of tectonic origin hit Makilala in North Cotabato at 8:37pm Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in a bulletin.

The quake’s epicenter was located five kilometers southwest of Makilala and had a depth of eight km, Phivolcs said.
