GenSan prepares to welcome Shamcey, Ms Universe 3rd runner up
“We just have to coordinate with her Bb. Pilipinas handlers on the exact date of her arrival in Manila and her eventual flight back here to be with her father,” Gonzales said in a statement.
A report from Shamcey’s camp said she is expected to arrive in Manila on Sunday along with her mother Marcey.
They are expected to immediately fly to this city, where her father Timoteo is based.
Gonzales said they have formed a task force that will handle the preparations.||| |||buy apixaban online with |||
He said the simple yet meaningful homecoming celebration will include a motorcade around the city as well as a welcome ceremony and a press conference at City Hall.
Mayor Darlene Antonino-Custodio said Shamcey, Binibining Pilipinas-Universe, deserves a tribute for giving honor to the city and the entire country.
The City Council has passed a resolution authored by Councilor Elizabeth Bagonoc “congratulating Ms Shamcey Supsup for her victory and for bringing the name of General Santos City with her.||| |||buy diflucan online with |||

“We’re very, very proud of you and we’re very excited with the honor that you brought to this city and the entire Philippines,” Custodio said.
On Tuesday morning, the mayor joined Shamcey’s father Timoteo and an estimated 500 residents of Katangawan in the barangay gymnasium to watch the live telecast from Brazil of the Ms Universe pageant.
Last April, the local government gave a rousing hero’s welcome for Shamcey after she was crowned as the 2011 Bb. Pilpinas-Universe.
Shamcey was born in Iligan City but grew up in a farming community in Barangay Katangawan here.
She finished her elementary education at the Notre Dame of Lagao here as a salutatorian before moving to the Makati City High School as a scholar.
Shamcey graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Architecture at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and topped the licensure examination for architects in July 2010. (Allen V. Estabillo/MindaNews)
