A T’boli community has recently secured a Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT) covering the sitios of Datal Bonlangon, Tawan Dagat, Segowit, Tuburan in Barangay Ned in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and sitio Tulale in Barangay Sto. Nino in Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat.

After almost 7 years of waiting, the Taboli-Manobo S’daf Claimants Organization (TAMASCO) has finally earned their CADT amid the threats of mining and expansion of a coffee plantation that have been hounding their rights, culture and livelihood.  Texts and Photos by Jean Marie Ferraris for LRC-KsK
