Vice President Sara Duterte awards the Coast Guard Bronze Cross Medal to CG PO2 Alfie Baba and Search and Rescue Dog Appa on Wednesday (21 February 2024) at the Sasa Wharf in Davao City. PO2 Baba and Appa helped find alive the three-year old girl, Sheila “Chinchin” Malacaste, in the rubble of the Masara landslide in Maco, Davao de Oro.
