24esplanade web — Fitness buffs go jogging at one of Iligan City’s newest attraction, the Mandulog River Esplanade in Barangay Santiago early morning Wednesday (24 November 2021). It opened July 2021, along with another government-built project, the Iligan City Wet Park. The crowd immediately came – to run or walk, to join a throng of Zumba enthusiasts, to breathe fresh air, or just sight-seeing. But then the Delta variant of COVID-19 came and local cases surged.
