Davao 911 responders attend to athletes from Tagum City who complained of stomach ache on Sunday evening, 18 February 2018. The student athletes are competing in the Davao Region athletic meet hosted this year by Davao City.  On Saturday night, 38 members of the delegation from Mati, Davao Oriental were rushed to the hospital due to suspected food poisoning.
