A Philippine Marine officer talks to recruits who volunteered to become reservists from the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao last Saturday (14 Aug 2016). About 2,000 showed up in the Marines’ call for recruits in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.
The volunteers include doctors and other professionals, government employees, farmers, fisherfolks and even former Moro combatants.
