Children riding a colorful motorela join the Paskorela on Dec. 20, 2014, an event that highlights the famous motorela in Cagayan de Oro City. Local inventor Raphael Floirendo, invented the motorela in 1964 and was granted patent no. 2243. The motorela comes from the words ‘motorized” and “carretela”.
