The campaign period’s already finished,
counting of the votes has been completed,
and the fi
nal winners have been declared:
why with attack-defense remain obsessed?
For what worthwhile purpose and useful end
is the endless arguing and bickering,
picking quarrels, ever so heart-breaking,
when losers have faded, winners remain?
It is time now in dialogue to engage
for ideas and views to share and exchange
what would be to our nation’s advantage
so we all go forward and make progress.
Let us now begin working together
towards the dream of change that we all share.
