DAVAO CITY (MindaNews / 26 July) — A Magnitude 5.
6 earthquake struck near Manay, Davao Oriental on Sunday morning but no damages were reported.
The quake of tectonic origin struck at 11:12 a.m., 81 kilometers southeast of Manay, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in its earthquake bulletin.
The quake was felt at Intensity III in Manay and Intensity II in Davao City. According to instrumental intensities, it was Intensity III in Malungon, Sarangani, Intensity II in Alabel and Kiamba towns in Sarangani, Intensity I in the cities of General Santos and Koronadal, and Tupi in South Cotabato.
