CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (MindaNews/ 02 Oct) – Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s Hugpong ng Pagbabago or Partido Federal ng Pilipinas has chosen its bet for mayor of this port city in the midterm elections next year.
Hugpong has endorsed Candy Darimbang to challenge Mayor Oscar Moreno, who is serving his second term.
But Darimbang, who was named local chapter chair of Hugpong or PFP, said the party will decide this week who to field against Moreno.

“My door is still open for their final negotiation which should be amenable and acceptable ka namo nga mga kandidato,” she said.
Hugpong has coalesced with Padayon Pilipino of former city mayor Vicente Emano and his son, Misamis Oriental Gov.
