|  October 31, 2016 - 4:50 pm

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/31 October) — Two low pressure areas located east of Mindanao and the Visayas will possibly enter the Philippine area of responsibility and develop into tropical cyclones this week, the state weather bureau said Monday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the firs LPA was spotted 1,000 east of Mindanao, and the second was located 1,019 kilometers east of Visayas.

Pagasa said the weather disturbances may intensify into typhoons in the next two to three days.

If the two LPAs become tropical cyclones, they will be called Marce and Nina, respectively.
