DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/01 September) – Visayas and the regions of Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms due to a low pressure area (LPA) eyed 770 kilometers east of Borongan in Eastern Samar.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) in its weather forecast issued at 5 a.m. Monday that as of 4 a.m., the LPA was spotted at 770 km east of Borongan in Eastern Samar.
Twelve hours earlier, at 4 p.m. Sunday, the LPA was estimated at 830 kms east of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur.
“Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening,” PAGASA said. (MindaNews)
