MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/23 March) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Carmen town in North Cotabato at 9:17 a.
m. Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in a bulletin posted in its website.
Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic in origin and located one kilometer southwest of Carmen.
The tremor, which had a depth of three kilometers, was felt at Intensity IV in Carmen and Intensity 1 in Kidapawan City.
