Maguindanao opens the defense of its men’s title against the Holy Cross of Davao College while the Holy Crosss of Davao College volleybelles go up against Jose Maria College for its first game.
 
Games will start after the opening rites at 8 a.m. which is expected to be graced by City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and First Disctrict Representative Prospero "Boy" Nograles
Cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs in the tournament with the champion team getting P6, 000 for the men’s category and P5, 000 for the women.
