Iligan Esplanade

The Iligan City Esplanade reopened during the city’s 73rd charter day on June 16, to the delight of fitness enthusiasts out for an early morning run or walk on Sunday, 18 June 2023. Situated at the mouth of the Mandulog River, it was first opened in July 2021.

The 300-meter esplanade was temporarily closed during the surge of the Delta variant a few months later and while construction work resumed to extend it to what is now at least 500 meters.
