From a conflict-affected area, Eleven Islands in Barangay Dita, 40 kilometers from the city center of Zamboanga, is now a tourist destination that features island hopping, short tracking, diving and the simple joys of swimming. A package tour at P1,799 per person is offered by Buenas Travel Tours, which includes land and sea transport, guided tour and seafood lunch prepared by community-based catering services.
