400km Marawi-Davao Ultramarathon

Theresa Celmar, one of the three women who joined the Marawi City to Davao City Hope 400km Ultramarathon, smiles for the camera as runners pass by Iligan City on Wednesday (8 August 2018). Only 12 runners joined perhaps the longest road race ever to be staged in the Philippines; four others joined the relay category, each running 100km.

Celmar’s teammate in the Timberland Ultra Runners of Cagayan de Oro City, Jake Soriano, was leading the race at this time.
