Under construction in Davao City is the multipurpose indoor arena of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, situated west of the northeastern tip of the Francisco Bangoy International Airport runway (7°8′5″N 125°38′50″E). Called the KJC King Dome, the arena will reportedly serve as cathedral, as well as for other events like concerts, boxing, and basketball games. With a budget of Php6 billion, it is supposed to be bigger than the Philippine Arena of the Iglesia ni Cristo in Bulacan and will even become the biggest indoor arena in the world once completed, with a seating capacity of 70,000. Began in 2012, construction will be completed in 2025. Taken aboard a commercial plane leaving Davao City on Saturday (12 May 2018). MindaNews photo by BOBBY TIMONERA
