Blasé was identified through the school ID the police recovered at 6:30 a.m. in a village located at least a kilometer away from where the victim's body was found.
Blasé's body was dumped in Nueva Vida village, just few meters away from the national highway. Her bag, school ID, and other things, were recovered in nearby Lapu-Lapu village.
The body bore torture marks, especially on her neck. The police said victim may have died from strangulation.
