Mindanao in four sets at the University of Mindanao Matina Campus volleyball court here to earn the title in women’s volleyball, 25 – 17, 22 – 25, 26 – 24, 25 – 17.

UM fought hard behind the excellent plays of Janice Arnaiz, Jane Mamalias and Cel Cabus but fell short to bow to determined Holy Cross.

However, the UM men's spikers exacted vengeance when it clobbered Holy Cross also in four sets to clinch the title. The UM men's squad bag the title with a 25 – 23, 25 – 22, 15 – 25, 25 – 19 victory.

University of Mindanao lord it over in both divisions in basketball. It swept Holy Cross for the men’s crown while its women’s team downed defending champs Rizal Memorial College, 74 – 66 to capture the title.
