DAVAO CITY (MindaNews / 29 January) — President Rodrigo Duterte has named Taosug lawyer Ombra Jainal as Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
Jainal, a native of Siasi, Sulu is a member of the Peace Implementing Panel of the Moro National Liberation Front under founding chair Nur Misuari.
Jainal is a former regional director of the Department of Labor and Employment and was Solicitor-General of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from 1996 to 2000 when Misuari was ARMM Governor.

In April last year, Duterte named a Moro lawyer from Lanao del Sur who lived for two decades in the United States and renounced his US citizenship in 2016 as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Duterte nominated Adnan Villaluna Alonto for the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with concurrent jurisdiction over the Republic of Yemen.
