Weekends or weekdays, this is life in Davao City nowadays with fewer jeepneys and cabs plying the streets: commuters compete against each other for a ride home, like this crowd in front of a mall along JP Laurel Avenue on Saturday night, 19 November 2022. There are bigger crowds and longer queues of passengers waiting for a ride on weekdays with schools now open for face-to-face classes.
