In 10 days, biking priest will be outside Malcanang

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/17 April) –  In ten days, he will be outside Malacanang on his bicycle, to deliver his letter to President Arroyo.

Redemptorist priest Amado “Picx” Picardal is now in Malibcong from Abra, on Day 25 (April 17) of his 56-day, 5,000 kilometer bike journey around the country  “for life and peace.”

Mosquito nets keep malaria away

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/17 April) —  Mosquito nets can save you from malaria, and death.

Dr. Josephine Ibalio, provincial malaria coordinator of the Department of Health in Bukidnon said they are pushing for greater public education on the anti-malaria campaign by urging people to use mosquito nets, among other things.
