Staff of the University of the Philippines uproot the Bt eggplants at the field test site inside the University of the Philippines-Mindanao campus on Friday. The city government of Davao has ordered the uprooting of the Bt eggplants because the university has reportedly violated some orders in relation to field testing of genetically-modified plants.
