These areas were flooded when Ala River, the province's biggest river, overflowed.
Albano, however, admitted that the food items were insufficient for the basic needs of the affected families.
"We expect they would experience hunger as their vast tracts of agricultural lands were destroyed by the floods," he said.
The DSWD and the Department of Agriculture have yet to assess the extent of the crop damage.
The floods inundated two villages in Esperanza and seven villages in Lambayong, all low-lying areas.
Albano said the worst hit when Ala River overflowed were the nearby low-lying towns in Maguindanao, including Sultan sa Barongis and Paglat.
Typhoon Butchoy has also left several towns in North Cotabato's first district submerged in water. Worst hit were the towns of Pigcawayan, Libungan, and Midsayap.
