Razon says it is "path to peace;" Sema says better move is for a "common MNLF-MILF position"

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/16 March) –  Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Avelino Razon called it “the path towards peace in Mindanao” but  amending RA 9054 to fully implement the 1996 peace agreement with the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) is an “exercise in futility”  as the better move, says Cotabato Mayor Muslimin Sema, is for the MNLF and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to have a “common position.”

"Principled collaboration" on natural family planning program possible, says PopCom

Task Group Rebelyn asks Army to present Parago’s suspects for investigation

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/15 March) —  The task force set up to look into the March 4 abduction and  murder of Rebelyn, the 20-year old daughter of Leoncio Pitao alias Parago, chief of the Pulang Bagani Command of the New People’s Army (NPA),  has requested the Army’s top official here to have the suspects named by Parago “present themselves for investigation and to air their sides as soon as possible.”
