Police says Rebelyn's body dumped between 12 midnight March 4 and 1 a.m. March 5

CARMEN, Davao del Norte (MindaNews/13 March) –  A makeshift cross made from the spine of a coconut palm frond now stands on the spot in the drainage canal between the  Carmen-Dujali road and the ricefield, where the body of 20-year old Rebelyn Maasin Pitao was found afternoon of March 5.

An investigation report of the Carmen Police Station dated March 11 based on ocular inspections and three affidavits dated March 12, concluded that Rebelyn’s body was dumped on that spot in Purok 5, Barangay San Isidro, “between 12:00 o’clock midnight of March 4, 2009 and 1:00 o’clock a.m. of March 5.”
