Earthquake swarm hits North Cot

KIDAPAWAN CITY (MindaNews/14 March) – A swarm of earthquakes since Thursday night has been felt in several North Cotabato towns, sending residents into panic.
           
An earthquake swarm,  according to Engr. Hermie Daquipa of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) Kidapawan sub-station, “is a series of earthquakes striking in clustered areas in a short period of time.”

INTERPOL sub-bureau in Zambo up by April

ZAMBOANGA CITY (MindaNews/14 March) —  By April, law enforcers in Western Mindanao will have real-time and direct access to INTERPOL’s transnational crimes database.

This was revealed by Undersecretary Rolando Garcia, Director of the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC) of the Office of the President, during a seminar Thursday on transnational crimes held at their Western Mindanao field office in Camp Gen. Eduardo Batalla.
