Moro Human Rights Violations 2007 Report

Despite of the ongoing peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the two Moro Liberation Fronts in Mindanao, there is still no atmosphere of peace in the Moro areas in Mindanao.  The combined anti-terror policies of the US government and the Philippine government give license for state agents to disregard the civil and political rights of the Moro people.

DNA studies affirm rarity of Philippine Eagle

DAVAO CITY (Philippine Eagle Foundaiton/14 December) — The country’s national bird, the Philippine Eagle, is one of a kind, not only because it is found nowhere else, but also since it has a unique evolutionary history, clearly distinguishing it from other giant eagles once thought of as its immediate family.

Hope for the Eagles: new chick hatches at Eagle Center

pairs, Tsai and Princess Maasim, the chick is the 22nd eagle bred and hatched in captivity by the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF).
