Maguindanao’s Unas: “What shura?”

SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao (MindaNews/11 June) – A number of scholars and Muslim religious leaders have said invoking shura (Arabic for consultation) to explain the 12-0 victory of the administration’s Team Unity senatorial slate in the province was wrong but Engr. Norie Unas, Maguindanao administrator and spokesperson of Governor Datu Andal Ampatuan who was quoted as having invoked “shura” to explain the victory, now says he “never invoked shura.”

Koko to sue SouthCot poll supervisor for perjury an libel
