Agri’s Yap meets with banana growers

Journalists exempt from disclosing info under Anti-Terror Act

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/06 February) — The Senate has approved an amendment in the proposed Anti-Terrorism Act that will exempt journalists, lawyers and doctors from being compelled to reveal to law enforcers their communications with their sources of information, as well as with their clients and patients, Senator Aquilino Pimentel announced in a press statement.
