SouthCot couple victims of DDS?

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (MindaNews/26 Aug) — Couple Ramil and Edelisa Tejano left their home at a farming village in Tantangan, South Cotabato very much excited early last Aug. 18 hoping to see some movie stars and the colorful street festivities at the famed  Kadayawan Festival in Davao City last weekend. They reportedly planned their trip several weeks ahead so they would not miss any of the scheduled activities the next day.
But the Tejanos’ trip became their last. Tragedy met them in the streets of Davao City and they neither lived to see any movie star nor any of the Kadayawan festivities.

Police nabs 9 for drugs, murder

KIDAPAWAN CITY (MindaNews/26 Aug) — Police here collared five suspected drug couriers, one of them a woman, in a buy-bust raid last Friday along Alim Street.
Chief Insp. Leo Ajero, officer-in-charge of the city police, identified the leader of the group as Ginafel Espejo alias Jing-Jing.

2nd impeachment case doomed from the start — Pingoy

It was during this time that Migketay Saway openly challenged the authority of the DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) and PAMB  (Protected Aeras Management Bureau) as park managers.
