Rescued by ZCPO’s Police Station 9 operatives was Lyka Noblefranca, a resident of Lower Langcangan, Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.
Senior Supt. Angelito Casimiro, officer-in-charge of the ZCPO, said Noblefranca was rescued around 3:42 p.m. Wednesday at Sitio Dumagsa, Barangay Ayala, this city.
Casimiro said the rescue of Noblefranca came after her mother “sought assistance to rescue her daughter” who was informed by the victim “as to her whereabouts.”
Casimiro said the victim was abducted last July 7 in Oroquieta City and was taken to this city.
However, he said that the suspect, Wilson Garcia, remains at large.
