POSTCARDS FROM BANKEROHAN. A photo exhibition that features the Bankerohan market in Davao City. The exhibit runs from September 23-29 at the ground floor of NCCC Mall, Maa, Davao City. The event is known as “Slice of Life Davao” which will feature scenes that are usually overlooked and given a fresh perspective by the featured photographers will revolve around light and engaging images taken around Davao City.
About the Exhibit
Bankerohan, as a place is mainly characterized by the market within its territories, the river, and the bridge over it that connects one part of Davao City to the other.
Bankerohan is located at the heart of Davao and one of the few places in the city where people from all walks of life converge for one will find here a vast array of establishments.
What’s been giving Bankerohan its distinct color and feature are not the material things within it but the people who dwell in it and whose lives are shaped by this extraordinary place.
