On December 2, 2011, 237 farmer beneficiaries of the Ocaya Ranch in Barangay Kuya, Maramag, Bukidnon finally claimed the 48-hectare land awarded to them by the Department of Agrarian Reform under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Extension with Reform (CARPER).

The farmers were accompanied by a team from the Department of Agrarian Reform South Bukidnon, Municipal Agrarian Reform Office and elements of the Philippine Army and Philippine National Police.    Read story
