Actors reenact on Monday, March 13, 2017 the arrival of American General Douglas MacArthur, his staff and family at the Macabalan port in Cagayan de Oro City after escaping from the Japanese-surrounded Corregidor 75 years ago.

MacArthur proceeded to Del Monte Field in Barangay Dicklum, Manolo Fortich town in Bukidnon from where he flew to Australia on March 17, 1942 and there gave his famous “I shall return” oath.
