The woman mountain
Lies in a blanket of mist
Lulled to slumber
By the lullaby
from an ancient lake
The child of her tears
A mirror of her fears
On that Sunday
So the sages told
The woman mountain rose
And by her lake-child grieved
For unfinished prayers
And bodies sprawled
For dreams slain
And loves untold
