M’lang police chief, Insp. Winston Seniel said several documents such as registration forms and other office files were scattered on the floor when a Comelec officer arrived morning of January 2.
The computer issued by the North Cotabato Comelec was destroyed. Police discovered the computer near the exit.
Seniel said police investigators even found what appeared like dog’s paw prints on the wall and on the floor.
“We could not ascertain yet if these prints belonged to stray dogs or perhaps to the perpetrators,” Seniel said in telephone interview.
Whether or not there were missing documents could not be determined as yet.
“I already asked the election officer to account for all documents inside the office,” he said.
Markings and prints gathered inside the Comelec office were brought to the North Cotabato provincial crime lab to.
