Esperon: more checkpoints, more troops deployed to areas ?as needed,?

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/01 May) – More troops, more checkpoints.  

More checkpoints will be installed across the country to allow the military to be “in better support” to the  Philippine National Police (PNP) which remains the lead agency in implementing election laws, Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Hermogenes Esperon said, as he announced also the deployment of “more soldiers as needed.”
