A week ago I was privileged to be able to climb the highest mountain in the Philippines, at 9,692 feet above sea level, and get back in one piece. Here is my account of my little adventure with my Dad and his friends Keith Bacongco and Roger Marcelo:

DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/06 May) — The mascot of the popular food chain Jollibee
has become Mindanao’s unofficial road guide, as billboards and signages along the highway inform commuters it’s just a few kilometers away to the next Jollibee (or the next city) in Mindanao’s 27 provinces and 27 cities.
