Cebu Pacific resumes Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo flights
Cebu Pacific Air has resumed all its flights from Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo after it was cancelled due to the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon early this week.
Carmina Reyes Romero, of the Cebu Pacific communications office, said all five flights a week from Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo and vice versa have been resumed starting Wednesday, June 5.
Earlier, Job de Jesus, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Laguindingan manager, told reporters in Cagayan de Oro that the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon in Negros Island last June 3 caused the cancellation of Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo flights.
Mt. Kanlaon spewed a gray-colored plume with a height of 5,000 meters above sea level, forcing cancellation of flights.
