67 houses turned over to beneficiaries of Paglaum Village in Don Carlos
The provincial government of Bukidnon on Thursday turned over 67 houses worth P22.5 million to beneficiaries in Don Carlos town.
Governor Rogelio Niel Roque said the relocation site named as Paglaum (Hope) Village is a joint project of the provincial government and the municipal government of Don Carlos.
Roque said the construction of Paglaum Village started on December 1, 2021 and was completed on February 22.

Strafing in Sumisip: 1 killed, 1 injured
Unidentified gunmen strafed a row of houses in Sumisip town, Basilan last Wednesday, killing one person and wounding another, police said.
Garam Sulaiman, 31 died on the spot while Abubakrie Tuya, 17 was brought to Isabela City for treatment.
Police said land dispute is the motive of the shooting.

BFAR sets up marine hatchery in Hinatuan
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has set up a marine hatchery in Hinatuan town in Surigao del Sur.
Hinatuan Tourism and Information Officer Gemma Milan said the hatchery located in Sitio Langka, Barangay San Juan, is expected to lower the cost of bangus fry and other marine products.
Milan said Rep. Johnny Pimentel (2nd district, Surigao del Sur) provided the P24million funding for the hatchery which would be managed by BFAR Caragay for the first two years operation. (Froilan Gallardo / MindaNews)
