He said the DBP is just awaiting the approval of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to be able to open up a branch inside the ecozone.
He said the bank will serve other business locators inside the ecozone as well as nearby business establishments.[]
Arnuco noted that the entry of the new business locators was made possible through the support of the local government. He cited the city’s good business climate and business potentials.
Arnuco also announced that preparations are now being undertaken for the privatization of Zamboecozone’s income-generating facilities such as the swimming pools, zipline, condotels, bowling and other recreational facilities.
He said the facilities will be opened for bidding to interested parties soon and the privatization will be implemented before the end of the year. (MindaNews)
