NorthCot LGU extends help to Bohol quake victims

Gov. Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza ordered for the fast and immediate sending of relief assistance comprising of 100 sacks of rice, 30 cartons of noodles and 30 cartons of canned goods for the relief effort dubbed “OPLAN Tabang Bohol.”
The goods, repacked in plastic containers, are scheduled to be delivered to Davao City, particularly at the GSIS Covered Court in Matina as the official dropping area.
Before this, Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles has earlier called on to the governor to join the people of Davao City in giving the much-needed help to Bohol.
Apart from the relief goods provided by the provincial government, capitol employees also gave food, clothing and other kinds of assistance for the earthquake victims.[]
The Philippine National Police and Armed Forces of the Philippines in the province will also give donations after the governor tapped them to join the call of Archbishop Valles.
Bringing the relief goods is a composite team of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWD), Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRMMC), North Cotabato Emergency Response Team (NCERT), Cotabato Police Provincial Office and the AFP.
Valles said that once received, the goods will be immediately sent to Bohol in no time.
