Yung totoo?

Whither Marawi? What is the Truth?
One year since it was flaunted that Marawi has been liberated, yet, we do not feel such liberation.
One year since we were promised the re-building of our homes and yet we still live in tent cities and temporary shelters and living off the over-spent generosity of our relatives until now!
One year since we were assured that there were grand plans in store for us, yet, nothing. Nada. Zilch. Where are these outstanding plans now? There are so many questions that many of us are raising and we want to have the answers. We deserve to know what is going on.
Why the delay? Is there a budget for the Rehab of the Ground Zero or not?
Is the budget going to be loaned from some entity? How? Retail Treasury Bond or Joint Venture Agreement?
What happened to the Swiss Challenge?
Can we go back to our lands? Those among us whose houses were obliterated from the face of the earth? What happened?
We are concerned that the temporary shelters will be transformed into our permanent shelters, thereby making complete the loss of our beloved Marawi City.
One year after we were promised that the basic needs of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will be provided by the government, yet most of us receive nothing.
Mr. President, if you do not want to seek help from other countries (not only China), then allow us to seek help ourselves. One year has already passed since you promised that you will clear the Most Affected Areas (MAA) of UXO bombs, yet here we are still crying for what is due to us.
What is the real score about the Compensation and Reparation Bill in both the Senate and the Congress? Why is nothing heard about this bill? What is really the truth?
Most of all, when is the Ground Breaking? After how many delays, when is really the Ground Breaking?

( Thousands of IDPs mostly youth joined the series of activities held today in Marawi City to commemorate the 1st year Anniversary of the so- called Marawi liberation from 6:00 AM to 10:AM LET ME GO HOME MOVEMENT organized a plogging, Coffee session, photo ops and reading of statements @ Banggolo bridge. From 10:00 am to 12:00 BNMPD,MCG and Various CSO organizations lead a Prayer and March Rally attempting to reach Banggolo bridge but blocked by combined PNP and AFP Forces, the marchers appealed to the authorities that they just want to pass-by and have a glimpse of what is known as Marawi Ground Zero but to no avail they were not allowed thousands of marchers peacefully dispersed to avoid tension ).
