DAVAO CITY (MindaNews / 28 Jan) – Team Jonzlibz / Diagold Pawnshop led the first two of five games of the Sunday Bowlers Club 2015 President’s Cup held at Fairlanes Bowling Lanes on January 26.
The team rolled 1,101 pins, followed by Homer with 1,099 pins to place second, MDBA Sassy with 1,093 at third, Asia Fresh with 1,090 at fourth.
Team Ayang’s Catering rolled 1,081 pins to place fifth, then Fairlanes with 1,057 pins at sixth, Fortuners with 1,045 pins at seventh, and Asean with 1,039 pins at eighth.
Peddy Enriquez, of Asia Fresh team, rolled the most number of pins during the first two games with 266.
Games 3 and 4 will be held on Thursday evening while game 5 on Saturday.
The top 3 and 4 teams will battle it out to challenge the team who rolled the second highest number of pins before facing the top team, who gets the twice to beat advantage, for the step-up the ladder finals happening on same day.
A total of P8,000 cash prize awaits the champion team, P6,000, P4,000, and P2,000 for the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
A total of 15 teams competed during the first two games last Tuesday.
